Urban Abstracts Series #1 – Abstract Photography #3

This image (two versions) was taken at one of the many top tourist destinations in Hobart Tasmania at Salamanca Place.

It was in front of a restaurant almost at ground level. Photographed using a Sony Digital Still Camera DSC – F828. Caught my eye as it could be a contemporary piece of artwork.

I often wonder when doing this series “Urban Abstracts”, just how many people walk by these wonderful man made accidental slowly decaying visual delights.

On this island some of the images I have captured for this series are over a hundred years old.
