Page One – The Beginning of the Inscape Series

The painting below was the first of many using a motif I discovered whilst in art school. It was sold to IBM when shown at the Ivan Dougerty Gallery in New South Wales, Australia.

When I completed my studies at the East Sydney College and Alexander Mackie College of Advanced Education, I took this style to Canada and explored many variations in this way of painting in exhibitions and commissions. I called them, “Inscapes” and the one below appropriately was titled “Page One”.
